This was a solo project, so I handled all tasks for design, art, engineering, and marketing.
There are 180 designed levels that incorporate classic, fast-paced platforming elements. Each new area offers a variety of new enemies to bonk on the head, and even some dangerous new level hazards to keep you light on your feet! Each group of levels is concluded with an area boss that puts your platforming skills to the real challenge.
You are the last bastion. Stand strong against monsters and ghouls as they carry out a full-out attack to destroy your base. Survive long enough to acquire candies, obtain powerups, and protect your base from destruction.
This game is originally developed for Android devices, but is now in the process of being published to Steam. Check back in shortly to play!
I was in charge of designing the player powerup & reward systems, creating enemy behaviors, drawing up level layouts, hooking up UX/UI, and implementing sound effects.
This project was co-developed with Skyler Hektner being the lead engineer. I worked closely with him to bring ideas to life from simple concepts, to working prototypes, and eventually a polished product.
Additional shout out to Mattes Clarke for composing custom music for each area of the game!

I took the lead on designing level layouts, creating enemy behaviors, player upgrades, game narrative, UI/UX, creating sound effects/music, and publishing/marketing the game.
There are over 30 enemy types in the game, with some having additional variants and behaviors. Every new area of the game offers a unique theme and gradually introduces new enemies into the chaos as you progress. The powerup system is designed to be flexible and allows choice from the player to experiment with different playstyles, while also not revealing a single dominant strategy that can be abused.
